Maumee, OH – April 25, 2012. Allshred Services’ Kevin Cole-Sales Manager, Ed Cassidy-Information Security Consultant, Steve Hawes-Information Security Consultant and Staci Bailey-Marketing Manager, have received the prestigious accreditation of CSDS-Certified Secure Destruction Specialist, from the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). This accreditation promotes and acknowledges the comprehensive understanding of rules and regulations related to secure destruction. This accreditation is the highest individual achievement in the industry.
“Becoming a CSDS is a major accomplishment and something each of these individuals and their colleagues should be proud of,” said Bob Johnson, NAID CEO.
Each went through a 10 week training course and had to pass a 300 question test which focused on 7 areas of information destruction such as security, operations, risk management, NAID Certification, legislation, records management principles and NAID Compliance Tool Kit training.

NAID is the international trade association for companies providing information destruction services. NAID sets forth the strictest guidelines for information destruction and offers a certification program for its members that meet these guidelines. The NAID Certification Program establishes standards for a secure destruction process including such areas as operational security, employee hiring and screening, the destruction process, responsible disposal and insurance.
