Total Waste Shredding
This program is designed for bank branches of varying sizes or small offices. There should be containers placed throughout the building and under all teller counters for their daily trash.

These containers are lined with a clear trash bag. All material in these clear bags is shredded. Garbage cans lined with black bags are placed in the lunch rooms and restrooms for that material. Each night this material is then consolidated into one clear bag and one black bag by the cleaning crews, and then placed in a locked outside container. On a scheduled day our drivers pick up all of this material. We become, in essence, your trash company, in addition to your shredding company. All of the material in the black bags is shredded as well.

Outlined below is the Allshred Lockbox Program Overview:
  • All material that a teller throws away is placed in one container under the teller station.
  • All teller trash is placed into clear bags each day. Bags are tied, dated and retained in branch basement for set period, usually 5 days (if applicable).
  • All bathroom and lunchroom waste is emptied into black bags each day and securely tied.
  • Black bags are placed in the outside container each night. Clear bags are taken to the outside container after the retention period expires. There should be at least 1 clear bag and 1 black bag added each day.
  • Cardboard boxes can also be placed in the container after being flattened.
  • After bags are placed in the outside container, the container is locked.
  • Outside containers are inconspicuous. Each container has a padlock attached by a chain and a heavy plastic flap to protect against snow and ice.
  • A driver arrives on a pre-arranged schedule/date to pick up the bags.
  • The driver removes all material from the container, counts the bags, places them in our locked truck, and locks the outside container before leaving.
  • The material is brought back to our plant for processing and destruction, tracked via GPS at all times.
  • Paper materials are sorted from other trash-type materials.
  • All paper is shredded Twice
  • The shredded paper is baled and shipped to a paper mill where it is recycled into new paper products.
  • Black bags and any trash from the sorting line are also shredded.
  • Nothing leaves our plant until it’s destroyed.
