Community Shred-A-Thon

Allshred Services and WTOL CH.11 teamed up together on Saturday, 2.13.2010 to help the community properly dispose of their confidential material. During the event we shredded and recycled 8,100lbs. of paper. The community helped to save 69 trees, 28,350 gallon of water, 16,605 kilowatts of electricity, 1,539 gallons of oil, and 13 cubic yards of landfill space.

“We had a great turn out for the Community Shred-A-Thon. It's good to see that people understand the importance of shredding their confidential information to keep their identity safe.”

-Steve Haws, Information Security Consultant

Ohio State vs. Michigan

Shred-Off for Charity

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Shred-Off for Charity. We had a great turnout!

We received 797 pounds of donated food items and $115 dollars in cash donations for the Cherry Street Mission Ministries.

In a close contest, Ohio State fans won this year's face off with 427 pounds of food items to Michigan's 370 pounds.

As a result of the event, Allshred shredded and recycled 3,868 pounds of paper. Please read our Environmental Savings Report for the environmental benefits of recycling 3,868 pounds of paper!
