- All of our security personnel wear
uniforms and photo ID badges at all times.
- All of our security personnel have undergone
rigid background security checks, according to NAID Certification
standards, which include felony records, a social security number trace, a
motor vehicle report, seven years employment references, and a drug screen prior to their employment with Allshred Services.
We also require a pre-employment credit check and randomly
drug test 50% of our employees throughout the year.
- We offer a variety of
locking and slotted containers for those documents that are too sensitive to be left in an open box or container.
- The material is transported in totally
enclosed, locked trucks. The locked trucks have
extra security features that include an in-cab alarm to
alert the driver of any issues or problems. In addition, our
trucks and drives are all outfitted with GPS tracking
equipment. We know where our trucks, and your material,
are at any given moment.
Our building, which has been called
“The Fort Knox of the Shredding Industry” is surrounded by a
locked fence and is fully-alarmed with motion sensors and
infrared beams and monitored 24-hours a day, seven days a week by an
off-site security company. Anyone not employed by Allshred Services is denied access to the processing area and to the storage area when not accompanied by
an Allshred Employee.
- A state of the art
16-camera digital closed circuit video camera system monitors all parts of the building at all times, and all monitoring data is maintained for 90 days.
- Your
material is completely obliterated by our shredders, baled and, if recyclable, shipped to paper mills to be hydro-pulped and made into new paper. It is
NEVER sold as packaging material. If it is not recyclable, it is securely disposed of.
- We have very
strict security procedures for all of our personnel. Every one of our personnel has undergone training on what we expect of them at all times. They understand the responsibility we have been entrusted with by our clients and what it takes to maintain that trust.
- Our
security procedures also pertain to any visitor to our destruction facility. All
visitors are immediately signed in. The sign-in process includes the visitor’s name, company affiliation, the time they enter and leave the building, taking a copy of their driver’s license, and the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement. We then issue them an ID badge to wear while in our destruction facility.
- After all that, all of our
personnel are bonded with a $1,000,000 Employee Dishonesty policy, backed up with a $1,000,000 Professional Liability policy. However, we work very hard to make sure it doesn’t come down to
that.
- We
encourage inspections of our secure destruction facility. Only after seeing our facility will you be able to truly appreciate the attention we give to the security of your documents.
Our security procedures are so intense that they have enabled us to achieve
NAID Certification, which we are very proud of. Our security procedures also enable us to assure you that your
HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Sarbanes-Oxley, and FACTA regulated documents will be handled with the utmost
security. |
