WASHINGTON, DC (April 17, 2000) – Allshred Services, owner, Willie Geiser, has been elected to a two-year term as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). NAID currently has 190 members in the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia and South America.

Allshred Services, Inc., is a 12-year old Toledo-based company that specializes in the secure destruction of confidential business information. Allshred provides both on-site and off-site destruction of all types of materials, including paper, microfilm, microfiche, computer discs and backup tapes. Allshred also destroys R & D products and materials that companies want to keep out of the hands of their competitors.

"I am honored and flattered to have been elected," says Geiser. "I see this as an opportunity to provide local input to an international industry, while at the same time, it will help me keep abreast of the ever-changing industry that I’m in." He went on to add, "I would expect that with the increased knowledge and exposure I’ll have access to, it will help my company provide even better service to our business clients."

Geiser has previously served on the Board of Directors for the past two years, and has been the Annual Conference chairperson for the past two years.

Mike Giuffrida, the executive director of NAID, said, "Willie has shown himself to be a responsible, dedicated, hardworking and ethical business owner. The information disposal industry is growing rapidly as businesses are becoming increasingly aware of the need for the secure disposal of their competitive secrets. Willie will be a very good leader for our association."

Geiser is also a member of ARMA (Association of Records Managers and Administrators) and ASIS (American Society for Information Security).
