This means by using our services you have helped save 8,744 trees, 3,600,296 gallons of water, 2,108,745 kwh of electricity, 195,445 gallons of oil and have saved over 1,697 cubic yards of landfill space.

We are very please to announce that we have shredded and recycled over 100,000,000 pounds of paper. For the last 20 years, we have tracked and recorded the amount of paper that has been shredded and recycled from our customers. On Friday, March 27,2009 this number reached 100,053,034. As a result of using our services, our customers have all contributed to the 100,053,034 pounds of paper that we have recycled. In doing so, they have help save 850,453 trees, 350,186,690 gallon of water, 205,109,347 kwh of electricity, 19,010,135 gallons of oil, 165,088 cubic yards of landfill space and have keep 3,001,600 pounds of air effluents from the atmosphere.
Tom Huth, Vice President of Operations, remarked, "Reaching 100,000,000 pounds of shredded and recycled paper during our 20th year of business is a great accomplishment. We feel that helping the environment is not only a by-product of what we do, but also a responsibility we have to our community. We try to keep the environment in mind in every aspect of our operations."

Allshred V.P. of Operations Elected to NAID Board of Directors
Thomas Huth, Senior Vice President of Operations at Allshred Services, was recently elected to the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) Board of Directors. As a NAID director Tom will help set organizational policy for NAID and identify the strategic direction of the association. He will be responsible for advancing the current guidelines of the information destruction industry and will help in discerning and developing the latest industry trends. “NAID is the heart of the information destruction world. It is my goal as a director to strengthen the role of NAID and to continue to promote the organization as a tool to protect businesses across the world,” commented Thomas Huth.
Tom was elected to the Board at the 2009 Annual NAID conference in New Orleans. He was elected to a two year term that is effective immediately.

Allshred Services, The Mirror Newspaper and the Maumee Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to sponsor the Earth Day Recycle and Shred Fest. This event is open to all area businesses and residents. Allshred will collect, shred and recycle paper material and will collect and recycle electronic equipment. We are asking for a $5.00 donation per drop off (maximum 5 boxes/bags of paper and 5 electronic items per car). All donations will be given to the Maumee City Schools for their student recycling programs.
Dr. Angela Jackson has been in practice in the Rossford area for 8 years. The doctors and staff at Quality Family Eyecare strive to provide the most advanced and professional vision care services and materials available. We do so in an attempt to exceed the expectations of patients and referral sources. We work with other health care providers in promoting each patient's general health, knowing the eye is only a small part of a large system. In keeping with the "going green" idea, our office in March started electronic records, decreasing our paper usages by 35% in the first month.

Lock Your Mailbox
Thieves will do almost anything to steal your identity and that includes stealing mail right out of your mailbox! Newly issued credit cards, bank and credit card statements, pre-approved credit card offers and other confidential al information are items that thieves are taking from unlocked mailboxes.
Many mailboxes come equipped with a lock to help prevent thieves from stealing your mail. Take a good look at your mailbox and make sure it is helping to protect your identity.

What You Need: 10 oz. Baby Spinach
4 oz. Feta Cheese (Crumbles)
1/2 Cup Slivered Almonds
1 Quart Sliced Strawberries
1/2 Cup Sliced Red Onion
Poppy Seed Dressing
How To Make It: Mix all of the above ingredients together in a large bowl. Add store bought poppy seed dressing and mix well.
